About my painting

I see painting as a constant challenge for me. I am particularly interested in the interaction of the colors, their interaction, which I am working on developing. For me, colors are a sensual experience. The act of painting is a process that keeps it awake. Working on it is the challenge that motivates and inspires me again and again.
In my pictures I am concerned with experienced realities and their transformation in the image process
by exploring color references. This is so important to me that behind it the interest in the motifs
takes a back seat.
The motif is only a reminder of the experienced situation, the occasion and the beginning of painting a picture. In the picture, however, the colors find their own correspondence and develop into their own reality, detached from the motif.

Quotations from the opening speech of Karl-Ernst Gaertner for the vernissage on 30th August in PARK HOTEL Ahrensburg about "to land":
In Angela Zander-Reinert's pictures, we can understand the easing rhythm of the weakness of the brush, empathize with the formation of the color tones, and mentally frighten the tectonics of the picture structure. ...
The main color tone is rotated by a tone-setting color in order to consolidate or change the painting. The rhythmically combined surfaces modulate the more or less objective pictorial space. From the type of lines or contours in the picture, we can see that they were not drawn directly, but rather are through actively adjacent color field sequences. The colored areas have the lead. Even the brushstrokes recognize important two-dimensional ...
This inner collection of the artist while painting ensures the interrelationship of the colors and at the same time creates concise simplifications of the surface forms. ...
We see: strong color-in-itself contrasts, with finer color references modulated and vehement brush strokes in a stable composition structure. ...
I recognize an expressive, quick romantic artistic attitude, which is the inner, subjective innerity. That's why I knew how a view relates to visibility in order to experience the visible as an expression of one's own emotionality. ...
Angela Zander-Reinert's pictorial power lies in her emotional day-to-day emotionality.Karl-Ernst Gaertner, August 2015
